URANBERKH Magsarmaa I Магсармаагийн Уранбэрх

Uranberkh ist spezialisiert auf die traditionelle mongolische Malerei – Mongol Zurag – und arbeitet als Künstler in Ulaanbaatar. Außerdem ist er Dozent für Malerei und Doktorand an der Staatlichen Universität für Pädagogik.

Man sieht in seinen Werken und Motiven eine detaillierte Kenntnis mongolischer Geschichte und Kultur an. Seine großformatigen Werke, zeigen wenige Motive auf ruhigen Hintergrundtönen, erzählen vergangene Geschichten. Uranberkh gibt der traditionellen mongolischen Malweise eine besondere und eigenständige Interpretation.

Geb. 1974 in der Mongolei, studierte er  Bildende Kunst an der Mongolischen Universität für Künste und Kultur in Ulaanbaatar. Zahlreiche Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland u. a. Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts, UMA Art Gallery, Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery und Khan Bank Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar; in  San Francisco USA; Saint Auvent Frankreich; Peking China; Vilnius Litauen; Bulgarien, Ungarn und Polen.

Uranberkh is specialized in traditional Mongolian Painting – Mongol Zurag – and works in Ulaanbaatar. He is a lecturer for painting and a PhD student at the State Pedagogical University of Mongolia.

His art shows a deep knowledge of Mongolian history and tradition. The large-sized works showing few elements on calm background colors tell narratives of the past. While trained in mongol zurag Uranberkh has developed a unique and new way of expressing traditional motives.

 

Born 1974 in Mongolia, he studied Fine Arts at the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar. Numerous exhibitions in Mongolia and abroad among others at Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts, UMA Art Gallery, Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery and Khan Bank Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar; in  San Francisco USA; Saint Auvent Frankreich; Peking China; Vilnius Litauen; Bulgarien, Ungarn and  Polen.
