TAMIR-SAMBANDBADRAA Purev I Пүрэвийн Самандбадраа (Тамир)
TAMIR arbeitet seit 2000 als Kalligrafie-Künstler und ebenso interdisziplinär mit Buchautoren, Filmemachern, Musikern, Modesdesignern und Performancekünstlern. Bereits als Kind lernte er die alte mongolische Schrift (uigurisch) von seiner Großmutter.
Geboren 1976 in Ulaanbaatar, studierte er künstlerische Kalligraphie mit dem großen Kalligraphie-Meister Battumur sowie Kunstmanagement an der Filmhochschule der Mongolischen Universität für Künste und Kultur in Ulaanbaatar. Zahlreiche Ausstellungen in Frankreich, China und Japan und in der Mongolei. Interdisziplinäre Arbeiten und Performances: 2006 Kalligraphie zu mongolischer Musik und Kalligraphie-Animationen während einer Modenschau in Paris, Frankreich; 2012 Open Forum-Poetry evening-Kalligraphie Performance in Oslo, Norwegen. Er wurde zum besten Kalligraf des Jahres 2006 in der Mongolei ausgezeichnet.
Since 2000 TAMIR works as a calligraphy artist and cooperates with book authors, filmmakers, musicians, fashion designers and performance artists for interdisciplinary projects. His artistic experience began with his grandmother teaching him the old Mongolian handwriting (uighur).
Born 1976 in Ulaanbaatar, he studied the art of calligraphy with the prestigious master Battumur and art management at the Film School of Mongolian University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar. He was awarded the best calligrapher of 2006 in Mongolia.
