Batkholboos Kunst spielt mit traditionellen Motiven. Er kombiniert abstrakte Skulpturen mit Installationen aus natürlichen Materialien. So fusioniert er Tradition und Moderne, verbindet das Alte mit dem Neuen. Neben seiner Arbeit als klassischer Bildhauer, hat er in den letzten Jahren viel im Bereich LandArt gearbeitet und war zudem aktiv im Vorstand des “Blue Sun” Contemporary Art Center (2009-2012).
Geboren in 1984, studierte er Wandmalerei und Skulptur an der Mongolischen Universität für Künste und Kultur in Ulaanbaatar. Ausstellungen in der Xanadu Art Gallery und UMA Art Gallery, Blue Sun iLoft function House sowie Zanabazar Museum of Fine Art in Ulaanbaatar. Teilnahme an weiteren Ausstellungen der Mongolisch-Amerikanischen Künstler in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolian Land art-360” in Uvurkhangai, Mongolei und “Bare House” Pori-Rotterdam-Ulaanbaatar.
Batkholboo deals with traditional motifs in his work: he displays abstract sculpture as well as installations out of natural materials. He creates a fusion of tradition and modernity, a “transition” connecting the old and the new.
Besides his work in classical sculpture he concentrates on LandArt and has been the chairman of the “Blue Sun” Contemporary Art Center between 2009 and 2012.
Born in 1984, he studied mural sculpture & painting B.A. at the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar. Exhibitions at Xanadu Art Gallery & UMA Art Gallery, Blue Sun iLoft function House & Zanabazar Museum of Fine Art in Ulaanbaatar. Took part in other exhibitions such as joint exhibition of Mongolian & American artists 2014, Mongolian Land Art-360° in Uvurkhangai, Mongolia & “Bare House” Pori-Rotterdam-Ulaanbaatar.
