Ganbold Lamjav I Ламжавын Ганболд
Ganbold zählt zu den renommiertesten Malern der Mongolei. Sein Schwerpunkt liegt auf expressionistischen Landschaftschaftsbilden, in denen eine intensive Farbgebung die Mongolische Natur reflektiert.
Geboren 1955 in der Mongolei, Sttdium er an der Repin Akademie für Bildende Künste in St. Petersburg, Russland. Seit 1994 ist er Dozent am Institut für Bildende Kunst der Mongolischen Universität für Künste und Kultur in Ulaanbaatar.
Seit 1977 zahlreiche Einzelausstellungen und Preise im In- und Ausland u.a. in der National Art Gallery of Fine Art, UMA Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar, Deutschland, Russland, China, Korea, Niederlande, Türkei und Japan, Doublet Gallery in Avranches, Frankreich; New York und San Francisco in den USA.
Ganbold is one of the most established painters in Mongolia, who concentrates on expressionist landscape paintings. With bright colors he reflects on the vast and beautfil Mongolian nature.
